I been using it and it’s a good control, but I have 3 question. I like to know when will the AS Version 3 come out and would like to know if there is a manual for Flex 3 App to play on and control it and will there be a Flex 3 ToobPlayer control?
I like to try this control in Flex 3 app but in order to try this using the AS Version 2 ToobPlayer when using SWFLoader in Flex 3, it requires to have the SWF AS Publishing settings at 3.0 for it to work.

What I mean about using the SWFLoader in Flex 3 where I can control the SWF flash file once I implement it in Flex 3 to manipulate it.
I have done a few App where I can control the SWF flash file with FLex 3 and it would be nice to be able to do it with this control, but again it requires to have the SWF AS Publishing settings at 3.0 for it to work.

This really saved my life. The YouTube ActionScript API is abysmal. This is a perfect alternative for showing YouTube video content.

I love how easy it is to drag the slider bar at the bottom. The Youtube player doesn’t do that well at all, and it’s always bugged me.

Hi everyone. I really need help with this player. I absolutely know nothing about flash, and I would like a step by step instruction on how to set it up and how to work with each piece of the component. I am trying to make something like the download page of ToobPlayer. Just a single page with the slider. But instead of (Vertical)up and down. I prefer horizontal (left and right). If you visit the download page you will see what I mean. If you know flash well or even enough to work with ToobPlayer, can you please help me. I really need this ASAP. I have already tried my best. I would take me a while to learn flash from scratch. Please help. I need to make a single page with a horizontal slide. I want to put about five to ten video players on a horizontal slide. But only one video should be viewable at a time.

Should be possible through JavaScript. I’m not a JavaScript expert though and I can’t be sure.

Thanks for the reply, I understand that the current version does not support it… but is there a way to modify the code in some way to detect the video content… If we can detect the video content (say if source is youtube) then maybe we can set some logo_mc._visible=true

The description says that the player supports preview images, but I don’t see a flashvar for that. What’s the variable to add a preview image?
Is there a way to get Toobplayer to resize itself according to the size of its html container (eg firefox zooming in and out, dynamic resize of div elements, etc)?
I want Toobplayer to flow in my design, and still be able to invoke fullscreen (saw a solution that sacrificed that).

do you know how i can show preview image stored on my host ? i’m looking for show the preview image before users click play button. Can i do it ? and is it possible to play one intro video before the main video(link presentation) ? thanks for all !
YouTube changed something and this Toobplayer no longer works.
Has anyone figured out the fix? All my once-working videos just stopped working in the last month or so. That is why Stacey is having problems; it doesn’t work anymore with YouTube.
wait, I just went over to the author’s website and, judging by the other comments I see there, it seems like he accidentally broke it… I guess and hope he’s going to fix it soon cuz it is awesome! And also to plus and furthermore, my client’s website doesn’t have working video now!
hi i’ve got a problem with the XMCA extension(btw im using flash cs4). i installed it with extension manager and everything worked fine but when i openned some .fla file there has been nothing like XMCA in Components panel.could somebody help me out? thanks
